DESIGN & BUILD

TMC Engineering provides complete engineering services and documentation for Design-Build HVAC, plumbing, and piping projects. Our clients benefit from direct engineering support during pre-construction conceptual design development, construction document creation, estimating, and project construction and commissioning.

TMC’s engineering integration greatly reduces or completely eliminates costly changes during construction.  We use the latest CAD and Building Information Modeling (BIM) software to create 2D or 3D designs.

TMC’s design-build engineering integrates LEED Certification and Energy Star Compliance when required.

Tim Mercier, P.E. – Lead Project Engineer

Tim is a Registered Professional Engineer with engineering degrees from the Georgia Institute of Technology in Chemical Engineering and Mechanical Engineering. Tim is TMC’s signatory Engineer of Record on more than 100 Design-Build HVAC and Plumbing projects. Between degrees, Tim worked as a Chemical Process Engineer in the semiconductor industry, and Tim began working at TMC in 1989 as a Project Manager -Estimator-Engineer. Today, Tim leads all of TMC’s engineering and coordination efforts for Plan-Spec projects, is the Engineer-of-Record for Design-Build projects, and provides engineering for Conceptual Designs, Cost Estimates and Design-Build Estimates . Tim’s education and experience in two complex but related fields, provides him a unique perspective and broad knowledge base to formulate effective, pragmatic and cost efficient engineering solutions for a broad spectrum of projects and system types. Tim’s expertise includes HVAC, Plumbing, Site Utilities, Medical Gas Systems, Refrigeration and VRF Systems, Process Piping and P&ID.

Jesse Grant

Jesse has an Associates Degree in Drafting and Design from Chattahoochee Technical College. Jesse’s studies emphasized BIM Design and Coordination. Jesse is TMC’s BIM Manager whose modeling has contributed to 3 million square feet of construction while leading multiple BIM efforts.

Zachary Hegetschweiler

Zachary has a Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry from Auburn University. He is a newer addition to the Tebarco team, gaining experience in Trimble, BIM, and estimating. Through BIM, he has gained expertise in programs such as AutoCAD and Revit. He currently works in the estimating and pre-construction side of the business.

Jerry Kirkland

Jerry has an A.A. in manufacturing technology from Pensacola State College. He is a BIM Coordinator at TMC responsible for modeling plumbing systems, HVAC systems, as well as industrial process piping and ductwork. Jerry has over 18 years drafting experience in Telecommunications, HVAC, Controls, and Plumbing serving Federal, Commercial, and Educational markets.
